这玩意儿其实算是整个 Computex 2009 上小姜看过最创新的一个 Netbook 产品，结果偏偏是个上市时间不明的政府机关产品 XD。简单来说 Mtube II 下半是个正常的 Via C7-M Netbook（事实上他们是一台 HP 2133 改的），而上半则是一台可分离式的 ARM 架构 Tablet。平常的时候可以只用上面 Tablet 的部份，但需要更强的运算能力的时候，插上去就可以跑 Windows 的应用程序了。

这是怎么办到的呢？其实说穿了不值钱，它只是在 Tablet 和主机之间做一个网络联机，然后使用远程桌面将主机的画面送到 Tablet 上。这样做虽然会让影片播放之类的应用执行困难，却留下了 Tablet 离开主机后，还能通过无线网络继续 access 主机软件的可能性。

现场示范人员说这东西要能实现，快的话至少也要个一年才有可能，只能希望有厂商赶快 pick up 这个概念啰！继续阅读里有影片。

<Computex 2009: Mtube II from III*>
We think this thing might be the most innovative netbook in this year's Computex. However, it's a creation of a government organization, which means the chance to see it in the market will be slim. Basically, the lower half of this Mtube II is a normal Atom-based netbook (a modified HP2133 actually), and top half is a detachable ARM-based tablet. Under normal usage, the tablet can operate alone, however, when more processing power is needed, the tablet can be reattached to run Windows applications.

The mechanism behind this thing is simple. A network connection is patched between the tablet and the lower-half base, and a remote desktop application is used to transmit the screen from the base to the tablet. The delay in between may limits its use in video replay or similar applications; however, this design leaves the possibility open for accessing software applications running in the base via wireless connection, while the tablet part is detached from the base.

The staff onsite told us, it would take at least another year of development for this to become a practically usable solution. Meanwhile, we hope there will be some manufacturers picking up this idea and turn into something marketable. Checkout the video clip after the break.

[34.4 秒为这台 SUSE Linux 操作系统配上 Moblin 2.0 的开机时间]

由 Intel 在台研发团队（台湾Moblin技术发展中心 Moblin Enabling Center，MEC）打造出来的 Moblin 2.0 其实是一张架在 Linux 上面的美丽外皮，而且是 Atom 专用。Moblin 的作业环境分五个区块，左上角今日工作事项、左下角重要的应用程序，中间我的文件内容以及右边我好友的现在状态，再配上最上面的导览Bar，Moblin 2.0 确实是所有 Linux 在小笔电上表现的最简洁干净好用的应用界面。

Moblin 2.0 其实最适合「还没真正学过电脑」或「轻量认知电脑」的使用者使用，因为如我妈或者是初学电脑的小朋友，Windows 对他们来说需要花时间来学习的，可能会扼杀他们使用电脑的兴趣（尤其是35岁以上的初学者）。但纵使如此，由 Linux 接手的 Moblin.org 必须承接教育的工作，不能简单丢给硬件商就开卖，这样必然有不好的结果。

另一方面，Moblin 2.0 用了将近三分之一的版面作为 SNS 最新状态的呈现，这似乎是因特网的趋势，所需要搭配必定是 3G 连网或未来的 WiMax 连网，因此 Moblin 2.0 的轻省笔电最好是通过电讯业者来推广最为适当。

当然这就是 Intel 的计谋，Intel 所为无他，就是要 Atom 卖得越多越好才是，所以才想要一整完全被击溃的 Linux 轻省笔电市场，让各家厂商愿意为了 Moblin 2.0 再推出搭载 Atom 处理器的 Linux 小笔电。所以对 Intel 来说，不管是蓝猫或者是橘猫，只要是 Atom 架构的小笔电就是好猫！

Moblin 2.0 is designed by Intel's development team in Taiwan. It is built on Linux and is designed specifically for Atom. You will see 5 main areas on the startup screen. In the upper left corner is the calender, lower left is the major applications, the middle is the documents, and your friends' status will appear on the right. Add a navigation bar to the top of the screen, and Moblin 2.0 becomes the cleanest and the most user-friendly operating system interface yet.

As a matter of fact, we think that Moblin 2.0 is best suited for the relatively inexperienced computer users. For example, my mom or my kids might find the standard Windows interface a little too intimidating to use. In this case, Moblin 2.0 will help smooth out the transition.

Also, Moblin 2.0 uses about one third of the area for showing SNS status. Perhpas this is the trend for Netbooks with 3G or WiMax capabilities. In this regard, it might be wise to bundle Moblin 2.0 with wireless providers.

Of course, Intel would love to see their Atom sales go up. Therefore, this might be their strategy to invade the Linux-Netbook market by encouraging more Netbook manufacturers to make more Moblin-enabled Atom Netbooks.

Here we have some fresh pictures of the new Vodafone Netbook. This particular Netbook completely matches the profile we've just described. In addition to that is the Moblin 2.0 Aspire One by Acer, which they claim has 11hr of battery life. We also have a video clip for people who are new to Moblin.

AMD今天在Comutex 2009发布新产品，Annti太早到，不小心拍到一些东西后，就厂商被赶出来，其中比较值得注意的就是Acer型号为ZA8的笔电，CPU为 Athlon L110，频率为1.2GHz，GPU为ATi Radeon X1270，分辨率为1366 × 768，也有3G联机。Annti之前没看过这一部，而且是贴着Gateway的品牌，不过记者会还没开始，待会就知道详情了。

这次还有展出明基的Joybook Lite T131（请点我），这部内地已经发布，台湾地区还是没消没息，现场也有HP Pavilion dv2与Medion Akoya Mini E1311，除了Acer ZA8之外，这几部都是AMD Yukon平台（Sempron 210U + ATi Radeon HD 3200）。

NVIDIA Tegra 平台今天总算正式跟大家见面了！（上图为他们家自豪的、比手掌还要小的 Tegra 平台 SoC）

今天的发表会上，主要有几个重点，一个当然是 Tegra 的技术内幕；老实说也不是啥内幕，就是 NVIDIA 的 CEO 黄仁勋（Jen-Hsun Huang）、行动事业部大头（General Manager of Mobile Businuss Unit）Michael Rayfield 在发表会上接力狂打他们家一路走来如何不断投入研发经费，然后最终达到小而省电的境界。

而当中最关键的省电技术，就是让 Tegra 平台上的一堆处理单元（如 CPU、GPU、2D 加速引擎、HD 影片编码器、HD 影片译码器、音效、影像处理组件、核心等）可以玩接力赛，在该启用的时候才启用，该睡的时候睡，让每一分电都能最有效的被使用，平均的耗电功率自然就会超低。（现场摸在跑 720p 影片 的 netbook，还真是凉到不象话！ ）

另一个重点，则是 Adobe 跟 NVIDIA 联袂加入了 Open Screen Project（另外还包括了 Braodcom），这计划的重点，是让 Adobe Flash Player 将来可以获得 GPU 的加持，当然 Tegra 平台的产品，也都会支持 Flash Player，可以让网络的影音内容播放更加流畅。（现场也有示范，确实相当流畅）

至于在将来 Tegra 产品的特色方面，简单条列如下：

• 续航力方面，可连续 25 天播放音乐或播放 1080p 影片达十小时
• 游戏中最高可以 46 fps 来播放动画
• Adobe Flash 可利用 GPU 加速
• 处理器可以持续在启用状态（反正耗电功率低），让使用者可以快速启动 netbook
  
• 支持 3G、WiFi、WiMax 等无线通讯方式
  

而在售价方面，则是会有很杀的 199 美元，若获得通信商补贴，甚至可以更低；当然这次也不会让大家白跑一趟，有几家公司已经有一些概念机的推出，在现场则是以 Windows CE 执行（请参考 Mobinnova elan），各位可以在跳转后收看！

在青磁花花瓶之外，ECS 还为我们带来了这台漂亮的 ARM Netbook T800。T800 也是今年特别流行的 AA 小笔电（ARM+Android）的一员，采用的是 TI（德仪）的 OMAP3 800MHz 或 1GHz CPU，并内置 8.1" 屏幕、512MB 内存、重仅 800g。现场展示机无法开机，所以大家只有看外观流口水啦！

Apart from the vase, ECS also gives us the gorgeous ARM Netbook T800, which is one of the popular AA netbooks (ARM+Android). The CPU is TI OMAP3 800MHz or 1GHz, with an 8.1" screen, 512MB of RAM and only 800g weight. We couldn't turn it on, so let's gawk.

在路经多彩科技时，看到了机壳、键鼠、 喇叭、Power、笔电等等周边。看来什么都做。原本没有什么特别的感觉，但经过摆放轻省笔电的展区时，有个产品外型颇为吸引人，就是青花瓷系列产品。还记得去年跑Computex的时候，轻省笔电正夯，在展场中，有一半以上的精力几乎都绕着相关产品在跑。而现在，轻省笔电满街都是，没什么稀奇了。能吸引人的，大概也就外型了。

与厂商交流时，才注意到多彩科技为中国内地的公司，在深圳。因此也问了一下，这款产品有没有可能在台湾地区上市。他们也提到，来在这边也是为了找适合的买家。所以......就看台湾有没有厂商对这个产品有兴趣啰。

Mobinnova élan 应该算是 Tegra 家族的 Netbook 中，最完善的一台了。elan 重不及一公斤，但跑起 720p 的影片一点问题也没有，而且持续播电影可以撑三部以上（至少七个小时）、一般使用至少 10 小时。到底 Tegra 跑起影片来如何？看继续阅读里的影片吧！

Mio is known for their GPS (PND) products. However, they showcased a new Netbook this year at Computex. It's called N890 and this is their first attempt at the Netbook market. Here are the specs:

This Netbook gives us a pretty good first impression. We are a bit disappointed because it doesn't have a touch screen nor does it have a swivel monitor. We can expect to see it in 3rd quater this year. Since it has built-in 3G, the atual sale will be bundled with a carrier. It will probably appear in Europe first, and the pricing is said to be "competitive."

技嘉的 Myou（音「买欧」）其实就是 CeBIT 之前发表的 10 寸三剑客当中的 S1024。规格上它就是一台普通的 Netbook，但是轻薄得多。雾面金属的涂装让它看起来比想象中的 Netbook 还要有质感得多，但或许是这种先入为主的感觉，拿起来只有 900 公克的重量，让拿着的感觉反差更大。

Gigabyte's Myou is actually the 10" S1024 shown at CeBIT a while ago. On paper, it looks like a conventional Netbook, but it's much lighter. The metallic paint makes it look a lot better than most Netbooks we've seen so far. It feels only 900 g in our hands, but that's just our 2 cents.
