其一是 Four Thirds 系统的感光器大小为 4/3 英寸

4/3的英文为“FourThirds”，它并不特指感光器件的大小，现在采用的CCD感光器件对角线长度大约为22.3mm，并不是4/3英寸(4/3 英寸应该为33.9mm)，通常，影象感光器件的大小表示一直是沿用真空影象感应管(VidiconTube)的计算方法而得出的结果。
