嗯嗯，按照目前的研究，貌似是可以加速向前来到达未来。但要想回到过去，则只能回到开始加速的那一个时间点上。简单来说，就是如果2010年造出了时光机器，并派出特搜队员XX太郎前往3010年的未来抵抗怪兽，则XX太郎战胜怪兽后最多只能回到2010年。

此外，平行宇宙的概念也为时间旅行提供了一个出路。但根据它的定义，我们只能穿梭到另外一个空间的过去。即，尽管我们回到了1997年，但却是出现在另外一个时间，也许有着另外的历史，也许那个世界里，剑心和巴的悲情故事没有拍成OVA。
