脑氧扫瞄仪，确保航天员在天上不会当机！

美国的国家航天医学研究中心（National Space Biomedical Research Institute）为了让航天员执行任务时，不至于出差错，最近发布了一套能够侦测脑中血氧浓度，以判定脑部是否遭受伤害的扫描仪，另外也可以用来观测航天员的情绪稳定与否，以作为正常出勤评量之依据。

该扫瞄仪能够发送低脉冲近红外线到脑中，从回波中的数据计算脑的血氧浓度；目前美国太空总署对于这仪器虽然不是百分百接受，但也丢了四十万美元给 NSBR 来进行后续研究，他们则是希望未来能将这项技术应用在血压或是心跳的侦测上。
