其实苹果要求MAC软件使用Universal Binary，但操作系统本身却做不到（可以提供UB的平台，但是不可能在平台上运行操作系统，毕竟性能和可操作性太低），所以OS X一直都是一张DVD中一份PPC文件一份X86文件的。既然才优化性能，抛弃PPC代码也是必须的选择。
另外楼上说抛弃PPC用户什么的，我不同意。一来Leopard还是可以用的，二来PPC的MAC已经好久没出了，三来苹果公司不是慈善组织。
