Engadget@COMPUTEX 2007：台湾大众电脑 CE260 随身微型电脑

趋势出现！随身微型电脑－Mobile Internet Device 应该是 2008 的重要应用趋势。除了华硕的 Eee PC 701 以外，台湾大众电脑也打造出这款 CE260 微型电脑（VIA 只是提供 C7-M 处理器，所以别再说是 VIA 推出了）。先从 C7-M ULV 1.2 GHz 这颗 CPU 谈起，这颗处理器厉害的地方在于整合南北桥芯片组，大小事情就交给 C7-M 就 OK 了，这也是 VIA 寄予厚望的重量级处理器。

其中7 寸 WVGA 800 x 480 分辨率触控式屏幕（虽然实际使用上反应还好）和 970 公克重量绝对是个卖点，能使用 6 小时电持续航力也令人惊讶（4 cell 锂电能有这样续航力不知是高兴还是讶异），1.8 寸硬盘则是免不了扼杀速率的选择，另外其它特色击点全文看详细描述，当然下面的图库有更多的高分辨率照片，千万不要错过：

We got our own shot at the VIA NanoBook today at Computex, and we heard a rather different story. The ultra portable goes under the name "FIC" (better know as Everex in the states) on the model we saw, and the company says that VIA has nothing to do with the machine aside from providing the C7-M processor.

从 Engadget 的名片就可以比较出 CE260 的大小，和同班同学不一样的地方在于前方有多媒体播放面板，有向下取代 PMP 的意味。

It's actually about the same width as the Asus offering, with the multi-function dock taking up the space of two speakers on the Asus.


有没有看到 CE260 的枢纽电源键，花 600 美元就可以买到 VAIO 级的设计，好不快乐！

CE260 虽然小巧，但键盘其实并不难打，上图是模型，在 VIA 摊位展出的实机触感更加。


开始出现厉害的特色了，第一批的 CE260 将可以随身携带电子万年历外，未来推出的模块将会是大家想要的 VoIP 电话，这个设计厉害！

没想到 CE260 如此贴心，还可以外插 SD 和 MS 存储卡，不过无法完全插入。

There's actually a card reader built in, though half of the card sticks out.


更令人惊奇的地方在于 CE260 是以 DVI 作为外接视频端口，据展场人员表示这是顺应趋势的一种表现，但并不是所有屏幕都有 DVI 输入端口，还是采用 VGA 好。



这是 CE260 很大的一个缺憾，试问这么小的触控版要给谁用呢？小人国里面的科技爱好者吗？

CE260 现在仅有 802.11b/g 无线传输模块，据展场人员表示将会有 3G 的选项，GPS 和 数字电视接受器也是开发的模块之一（装在那个电子万年历的地方），对于这样产品的诞生，我们怎么能不以予鼓励呢？还有一个好消息：CE260 八月会在欧洲和中国内地开始销售～
