Toshiba 笔记型电脑经典系列 Portege 从 2000、R100、R200 到 CES 大展出现的 R400 平板电脑。要价将近人民币 2.5 万元（$3,149 美元），支持 EV-DO 传输的 R400 采用省电节能 1.2GHz Intel Core Duo U2500 处理器、Vista Ultimate 操作系统、2 GB RAM、12.1 寸 LED 背光 LCD、XGA 分辨率、Intel GMA950 整合芯片组、WiFi 无限传输、蓝牙 2.0 +EDR 传输、指纹辨识系统、以太网络、内置麦克风、6 cell 电池、PCMCIA 插槽、2 个 USB 2.0 槽。重量为 1.7 公斤，以平板电脑来说挺合理的，不过需要外接光驱。R400 会预载许多 Toshiba 和微软的软件，在美国已经开始预购，我们这里的话相信平行输入商都把产品准备好了。
