Corel 宣布收购 InterVideo

Corel宣布以约60亿台币收购多媒体软件公司InterVideo。

这个交易包含早先被InterVideo合并的友立信息 (Ulead Systems, Inc.)，这次的合并会造就 Corel 汇聚了相当多重量级多媒体及美工软件。

Corel 在2004年曾收购 Jasc ，获得 Paint Shop Pro、Paint Shop Pro Studio和 Paint Shop Photo Album等重要产品，这次收购更取得 DVD 拨放软件龙头WinDVD 及 Ulead 的影像处理软件 PhotoImpact、影片剪辑软件 VideoStudio及 DVD 制作软件 DVD Movie Factory，加上本身著名的 CorelDRAW 及 Corel Painter，如此多样性的产品未来可能皆因为同构型与市场考虑，会有接续存废的问题。

Corel的经营者Vetcor Capital投资相当多美股上市软件公司，包括Corel、Real Network等著名企业，这类型的投资公司会将Corel及InterVideo这两间公司带领到那种境界，值得进一步观察。
