Engadget @ Computex 2006 （010）BCM 瀚讯网通 WiFiphone

这款 WiFiphone 也是属微软摊位内摆出的产品之一，因为相较于其它 WiFiphone 产品比较特别，所以特别区隔出来跟大家报告。由瀚讯网通推出的这款产品，由于操作系统以 Win CE.Net 作为操作系统发展，每个软件都由该公司自行制定，缺点无法像 WM5 操作系统一般具有太自由的软件扩充性，但优点是每个软件几乎都可以量身订作。

也因此，配合该平台开发出的 MSN 程序（未来还有 Skype 程序），执行 WiFi 时，可拥有高达 50 小时的通话时间（采用彩色屏幕，真够厉害的...），这样长的待机时间，有种另类 phs 的感觉。

但问题来了，键盘输入 MSN 就是痛苦而已，那这玩意采用 MSN 意义在哪呢？根据摊位人员表示，MSN 的功能最重要的功能在于确定该成员是否在「在线」，以确保成员行踪。

也因此，这款产品最适合应用在大型机构，如超过百人的公司企业，或学校机构，都是相当好的解决方案。另外由于这玩意有采用浏览器功能，所以架在浏览器上的应用可说是延伸无限。

BCM WiFiphone 目前不作直接贩卖到销售端的工作，而是搭配整套的 VoIP 服务配套方案进行销售，所以有机会的话，以后你所属的公司，每个人都会拿到一款这玩意喔！

Engadget中文是我见过的错误最多的网站

可拥有高达 50 小时的通话时间（采用彩色屏幕，真够厉害的...），这样长的待机时间

这东西再加上普通 GSM 或者 CDMA 支持那就无敌了。
