英国佬觉得 GPS 比眼睛还锐利？？

有不少报告指出，车用 GPS 为驾驶带来麻烦，可能大于实际贡献。可是，英国人倒是不信邪的觉得科技始终优于眼力。上周发生在英国两个小镇的一些有趣事件，就是导因于驾驶朋友太专注于小屏幕上的动静，而忽略了眼前的麻烦。

最近的一个不幸案例，是一个驾驶朋友在行经 Luckington 附近的一座桥时，不小心把车开进了 Avon 河，就因为 GPS 上了漏了一个重要的讯息-他没说这河上的桥一周前就关闭了。

虽然桥边已经架设了警告标示，不过仍有驾驶朋友们努力以一天两辆的速率，试着想要把这河给填满，附近居民表示，当他们问那一些驾驶的时候，总是得到相同的回复：｢啊他 (GPS) 就是告诉我这样走呀！我怎么知道会没路？｣

另外一个叫做｢疯子｣（Crackpot）的一个小镇（没错！就是这样叫！）镇上的居民也是不断忙着应付一些拿 GPS 当眼睛的驾驶。

由于镇上有一个 100 英尺高的断崖，为了阻止不幸的发生，居民特别把该路段扑上了碎石路面，一但驾驶经过，必定会放慢速度，应该可以减少意外的发生，虽然到现在都还未有任何不幸的消息传出，可是，不是不报，时候未到！

总之，虽然 GPS 对路痴而言，是非常的有帮助，不过，老兄！别忘了你还是有眼睛呀！
