Google视频下载服务正式发布

先前传闻说Google将有商业性的内容服务，现在他们已经正式确认：同时发布的还有Google包（一个压缩好的软件包，其中有G Talk，Google地球，桌面搜索，以及Google认为比较受欢迎的，比如RealPlayer 和 Acrobat），Google宣布他们将和美国哥伦比亚广播公司(CBS)在线销售可自由商业交易的视频片段，包括CSI，NCIS，Survivor和整个CBS数据库，不过没有提及对其它视频节目内容的销售，比如NBA比赛经过24小时后的节目，Sony BMG的音乐视频，Greencine.com的独立电影，Charlie Rose的访谈节目，及卡通片等（这些可能会在晚些时候参与）。虽然我们不知道使用Google视频下载服务的价格，但是我们可以知道他们会采用DivX视频技术来分发节目，同时表示将会给大家带来视频家庭服务（通过连接的互联网从Google video store下载节目）；还有，Google会提供DRM-free文件供下载，可以让用户使用在iPod,PSP上，不过这些文件无法再拷贝，当然，同样没有更多的关于使用这个下载服务的价格信息，或许，Google还想让我们的神经位之紧绷着。
