日本 NHK 电视台播放三千多万像素的超高解析现场直播秀

这种超高分辨率的电视即使在一百年后也不可能取代 HDTV，不过日本 NHK 电视台用这台三千多万像素（是古早年代1080i讯号的16倍），超高分辨率的电视来播放现场节目。

NHK 的现场节目运用数个使用八百像素 CCD 镜头的特制摄影机录制，再用该电视台将高达24Gbps 传输频宽切割成16段的 HD 讯号，透过光纤网络传送161英里到达2005年在日本爱知县举行的世博会 NHK 展场。这里的好消息是日本能够运用这样的技术播放现场节目，不过呢，对各位来说更好的消息是，其实这样的播放技术还停留在实验阶段，所以别担心，家里那台才刚买没多久的时髦 HDTV 还没那么快会退流行。
